S-TET Exam
The State Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) is a qualifying exam conducted by state governments for individuals aspiring to become teachers in state government schools from primary to higher secondary levels. Each state conducts its own version of the STET to recruit teachers for various subjects and grades.
Similar to the national-level CTET, the STET ensures that candidates possess the essential skills and qualifications required to teach in government-run schools. The exam generally comprises two papers: Paper I for teaching positions in primary classes (I to V), and Paper II for upper primary classes (VI to VIII).
